‘Arunodaya’ a Sanskrit word which means Rising Sun. We, at Arunodaya University, are striving to be the Rising Sun in the lives of our students.

Education is the most important factor in the development of human civilization. Education provides the nation with man powers, promotes national unity and uplifts public awareness. A country needs different kinds of educated people such as Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, Administrative Officials, Economists, Judges, and other technical hands. Education provides the nation with those educated hands. Education promotes national unity, reforms the society and profoundly enhances human prosperity.

Education is not all about studying and getting good marks. It is really a means to discover new things which we don’t know about and increase our knowledge. You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives. A student attains perfection with education, as he is not only gaining something from it but also contributing to the growth of a nation.

The basic purpose of education is not just imparting knowledge as is generally perceived but also to enable students to understand and discover themselves. The student from our University will be in a position to look at the problem from different perspectives and come to a logical solution. This is the orientation that will be given to students. Various dimensions in which University students are expected to excel include innovative thinking, logical and analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, trustworthiness, environment and energy consciousness, ethics and moral values – and while at it, gaining an overall development of mind, body, and intellect. We at Arunodaya University are committed to educating students to develop these very skills. We are extremely focused on providing education comparable to international standards.
